ABOUT MEMy name is Ellen Kraft, and I am an English Language Learner teacher at Truman Primary School in Norman, Oklahoma. My incredible students range from prekindergarten through 2nd grade. Through their bravery, curiosity and spirit of tolerance, I learn something new from my students each and every day. Working with culturally and linguistically diverse learners and families allows me to grow a global learning community fueled by my passion for all things global!
In 2017, I was selected as a Teachers for Global Classrooms fellow. This professional development journey has connected me with the most amazing professional educators from across the country. Through endless collaboration, discussion and networking, I have gained a wealth of resources I wish to share in hopes of inspiring global learning. As the international field experience component of the TGC fellowship, I will travel to Colombia during the summer of 2018. This ultimate field trip will allow me to explore Colombian culture and the education system while promoting mutual understanding. Please follow my travel blog for updates and notes from the field.
